Over the past nine years, Neil has undertaken a diverse range of projects. For the last four years, his primary focus has shifted toward the design, construction and operation of luxury hospitality developments.
During this time, Neil has undertaken the design of six lodges and hotels across Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, and Spain as well as a number of cabins for discerning clients.
Neil is especially proud to have designed the recipient of the 2025 Condé Nast award for Best Waterside Hotel in Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East.

These are cabins imagined for those who value beauty, simplicity and soul — a catalogue of dreams waiting to be discovered. When a design resonates with you, when you feel a pull toward a particular space, let us know. You can purchase the rights to that design, making it uniquely yours.

From there, we enter into a personalised process together. We’ll guide you in selecting finishes, materials and specifications that suit your context and sensibility. Once everything is aligned, we’ll provide a full costing and timeline for the build and installation.

Our involvement doesn’t stop at the drawing board. Sereni Design remains by your side through every stage of realisation, overseeing construction and installation to ensure your chosen cabin is brought to life with precision, care and intention.
